Modimolle Troublemakers FC gave way to Bela Bela Diesel N Dust FC after dropping to second position on the log standings this past weekend.

Diesel N Dust FC rose to the summit of the Waterberg’s SAB League, following their 1-all stalemate with Modimolle Celtic FC last Saturday 10 March.

The status quo at the top of the log may still change at any given time, as both Diesel N Dust FC and Troublemakers are sitting on position one and two respectively, with 30 points each.

This coming weekend Diesel N Dust FC was fixtured to travel to Mookgophong to do battle with the local Junior Stars FC, while Troublemakers FC had a date with Opleft United at Bela Bela’s Sunfa Stadium.

Marapyane Opleft United FC, who suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of Modimolle Bussel FC, could be a tough opponent for homeboys Modimolle Troublemakers FC.

The village lads have to turn around their fortunes before it is too late, with relegation from the Waterberg SAB Regional League beckoning.

Marapyane Opleft United FC team manager, Reuben Mochusi, acknowledged that Modimolle Troublemakers FC would be a tough opponent, but were prepared to compete for the three points on offer.

Bussel FC’s assistant coach, Brian Nkuna, said his team planned to continue to fight untill the end of the season, hoping to end the race in a better position on the log standings.

In other results, Boys 2 Men FC of Vaalwater and Rapotokwane’s Qualitho FC shared the spoils following a 1-all draw.
