The Waterberg SAB Regional League would be heading for the Christmas recess with a couple of local derbies lined up to bring down the curtain.

At Moloto Stadium third-placed Bela-Bela Pirates FC and second-placed Bela-Bela Diesel ‘n Dust FC lock horns, with the objective to go into the new season on better log standings.

It is generally-agreed that this one, scheduled to take place on Saturday, 9 December, has the makings of a humdinger.

Another interesting derby is the fixture to be staged at Modimolle’s Ephraim Mogale Stadium, pitting fifth-placed Modimolle Home Defenders FC against sixth-placed Modimolle Bussel FC.

The two teams are on 10 points each, with Modimolle Home Defenders FC having one game in hand.

Tail-enders, Mabatlane Maxoma FC will be closing the season with a fixture against struggling Modimolle Troublemakers FC.

Seabe’s Opleft FC, at number 10 on the league log standings, have a date eighth-placed Rapotokwane Qualitho FC.

Roetdan‘s Juniors Stars FC, at an impressive number four on the log standings, welcome  Modimolle Boys 2 Men FC, which is leading the pack on the log standings.
