Bela-Bela Soccer Academy players Kina Nkhumise and Gontse Molokomme have been invited for a selection camp for the under-17 national team.
A total of 50 players were scheduled to converge at the South African Football Association Technical Centre, at Fun Valley in Johannesburg by Thurday, 7 December.
Of the 50 trialists, 21 were to be selected to form part of the national under-17 squad to represent South Africa at a four-nations tournament at the Maseru capital of Lesotho from 13 December, to 17 December.
Nkhumise and Molokomme were part of a foursome of players from Bela-Bela Soccer Academy recently invited for trials at the Mamelodi Sundowns development team.
The other two players were Kabelo Mokoena and Ralph Ledwaba.
“We are so proud of these boys and wish them the best of luck in this endeavour,” said Sam Modise, the local academy founder.
