SAB League side Modimolle Troublemakers FC crashed the hopes of Modimolle All Stars FC supporters on Saturday, 1 April when they defeated the league contenders 2-0 at the Ephraim Mogale Stadium.

All Stars’ loss resulted in the team being kicked out of the title race, regardless of the results of their three remaining matches.

The second placed NTK Happy kept their hopes alive when they defeated Diesel N Dust on Saturday. 

Happy Boys will have to win their remaining matches and score as many goals as possible to keep up with the log leaders Qualitho FC.

Qualitho FC who are six points clear on top of the log standings are left with only one game to play.

Qualitho FC walloped Modimolle’s Bussel FC 5-1 last weekend, to increase their chances of winning stream A of the Waterberg Region’s SAB League.

Bela Bela Pirates FC defeated Modimolle Home Defenders FC 5-1, sending shockwaves to the supporters of the team which needs to start collecting points to avoid relegation.

The dark horse of the SAB League’s stream A, Boys 2 Men increased their chances of snatching the title after defeating Modimolle Celtic FC 3-1.

This coming weekend Boys 2 Men will be hosting Modimolle All Stars in Vaalwater in some of the outstanding league matches of the season.

Bela Bela Pirates will host local rivals Diesel N Dust FC, while Bussel FC hosts Troublemakers FC in Modimolle.

All the above fixtures will take place on Saturday, 8 April.
