The Community Work Programme (CWP), in partnership with the organisation Hands On and Hands of Hope, are passionate about the Modimolle community.

The three groupings decided on running a Back-to-School Shoe Project this year, and the team was able to identify learners most in need of shoes. They believe learners need to be encouraged to continue with school, and that lack of shoes should not be a barrier in order to have a positive schooling experience.

This project successfully kicked off on Monday, 21 January, at Hector Peterson Primary School in Phagameng township.

The team is grateful to the sponsors for the financial contribution and shoes.

This project will continue in more schools within the Waterberg district.

Community members are welcome to join the project. For more information contact Janine Botha at 082 228 2858.
