Waterberg District health authorities have emphasised their commitment to service delivery, following the recent induction of a new committee at Warmbaths Town Clinic.
Waterberg District Department of Health communications manager, Morobi Malatji, said the committee comprised of locals from various segments of the community.
The panel is chaired by local pastor, Sammy Masale, with Obed Molekwa from the Bela Bela Disability Forum serving as his deputy.
The treasurer is traditional health practitioner, Archie Fouchè, while educator Daniel Makama serves as secretary.
Other members include councillor Tinus Ras, the clinic’s operational manager, Adolphina Levimbi, and Mariekie Moloto, who serves as the liaison officer.
The committee would monitor the services and advise the department on service delivery challenges, and further assist with campaigns, in terms of the health year calendar.
“We welcome the new committee and are looking forward to good working relations for the next three years,” Malatji said.
