The entertainment circuit was expected to continue to go into higher gear in the year 2018, with new kid on the block, Lerato’s Pub ‘n Grill at Bela-Bela township, opening its doors to fun lovers.

Lerato’s Pub ‘n Grill has lined up theme evenings starting from Thursday, 11 January, with a hip-hop night special, featuring local artists such as Majankrapa.

In December the local Chesanyama had revellers screaming for more, with the visit of Pretoria deejay, Dayo Morris (aka Da Lootz), who returned to the venue by popular public demand.

Going forward the Chesanyama management had plans to bring more guest deejays from other provinces, which also hosted Polokwane’s deejays Miss Groovesoul and Iggy Da Gruv, and also Gauteng’s Sonik DJ.

Club Paradise was steadily re-positioning itself for a series of live performances, such as the club had with the visit of sensational Modimolle-based TRV.

Leratos Pub ‘n Grill, the new trendy joint at Bela-Bela township, featured the Afro-pop and jazz Sol Shibambu Live Band too.

The pub owner, Lerato Masemola, said she was lining up various themes, starting with hip-hop nights on Thursdays, featuring local artists.

Fridays would offer revellers a ladies’ night theme, with a happy hour offering discounts on certain drinks.

On Saturdays the Lerato Pub ‘n Grill planned to feature resident deejays, playing mainly house music.

She said on Sunday the venue planned to offer soul and jazz music.

Modimolle’s Hapido Café also attracted more fun-loving customers, and has also emerged as one of the hottest venues.
